Asheville, NC — On June 13, 2026, the Pink Dog Gallery in the River Arts District will  unveil “The Mountains Are Calling and I Must Color Them,” a moving new body of work  by Asheville-based painter Pam Granger Gale. Through a captivating marbling technique applied to  vintage topographical maps of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Gale celebrates the region’s rugged beauty,  complex landscapes, and enduring spirit. 

This collection blends art and place, inviting viewers to explore the interplay of history, topography,  and human creativity — inspiring all who experience it to deepen their connection to these beloved  mountains and the stories etched across their contours.
