The blanket with which my aunt sent me off to college has finally (after 38 years) begun unraveling from a hole that grew.  I visited Purls yarn shop to find out where to purchase (or commission) an afghan and they pointed me to Local Cloth.

I’m looking for someone who either sells or would be willing to make a crocheted afghan 44” x 72” (twin style) or very close to those dimensions.  Budget is $50-$200 depending on recommended pattern & yarn type.  The original blanket is acrylic or acrylic blend so I would want to keep a similar feel but am open to suggestion.  Colors should work well with the attached picture of the current bedspread and crochet fiber artwork on the wall.  Please contact Julie if you are interested in this sale/commission.
