WNCFHG Program: Crossnore Weaving Room

Crossnore Weavers, located on the Avery campus, was created to preserve the Appalachian art of hand-weaving, to give an economic opportunity to women, and to promote Crossnore Communities for Children through the sale of beautiful hand-woven goods all over the world.  Caroline Hatchell, Asst. Manager of the Weaving Room will be on hand to tell us all about Crossnore's mission and its weaving.  She will have a variety of wearables and housewares from the Weaving Room with her for sale.
