Join us in the Studio for drop-in fiber make-and-take activities — all materials provided, no experience needed.
TWO fun make-and-takes activities will be available this month!
1) Helene WaterLine Project: Stop by anytime between 12pm and 4pm to create a 2" × 6" piece of fiber art for our continuous, community-made "waterline," marking the height the water reached in Hurricane Helene, nearly 11 feet up our walls. Take a seat, make your piece with us, and either contribute it to the installation on the spot or take it home to finish and drop off later.
2) Indigo In the Garden: 2:30pm-4:30pm
Learn about the process of using fresh indigo, from harvest to dyeing! Join us in the garden right outside the Local Cloth Studio where we grow natural dye plants. Make a simple silk ribbon bookmark to take home with you.
FREE to attend, RSVP requested.
