Cardweaving on a Backstrap Loom

Learn the fun, portable craft of backstrap card weaving. With just a few simple tools, you’ll be able to create strong, attractive woven bands for hatbands, belts, straps, and more. In this class, you’ll learn the basics, make solid progress or even finish your first project, and leave with the tools and know-how to continue your card-weaving journey.

Level: Beginner

Age Range: Adults

Members: $100

Non-members: $120

Materials Fee : $25 cash, venmo, zelle, or paypal (to be collected day of class)

Instructor will provide: includes your handouts, yarn, cards, heddle and use of other tools

Students should bring: A larger belt to easily get in and out of (if you have one), a cushion to sit on if you desire (lots of sitting!), reading glasses if you need them. Feel free to bring colored pencils or markers if you want
