Felt a Stack or Folk Art Style Birds

Needle Felting a bird in the Folk Art style. In this workshop we will make 2-3 small birds. The birds will be simple shapes and brightly colored, by your vision. The birds will be designed to be stacked as the example or maybe strung vertically on a cord. In the class you will probably have time to make 2 birds and you will take materials home to make 1-2 more birds. All materials to make the birds and some display options will be provided.

Level: Beginner

Age Range: Adults

Members: $50

Non-Members: $60

Materials fee: $15 cash, venmo, or card (collected at time of workshop)

Materials provided by instructor:I will bring lots of wool, core wool, and colored roving. I will bring beads for the eyes, and a stiff wire or cord for stacking the birds.

Students should bring:  If you already have a foam (or other) felting pad, bring it. I will have foam felting pads and all supplies. Snacks optional.
