Materials provided by instructor: Lots of medium weight linen cotton, and wool scraps, 2 sergers to share, digital instructions to be printed by the student.
Students should bring: Bring your well functioning sewing machine, all purpose sewing thread, snips, a self healing cutting mat, a rotary cutter, fabric shears, fabric chalk or marker, seam ripper, quilting ruler (my preference for this project is 3" X 18"), a total of one yard of midweight, woven scraps (preferably cotton, linen, or hemp), cotton quilting thread, a quilting needle. I would estimate about a half yard of the fabric to be larger pieces (10" x 12") , 4 ft of drawstring (1/4 yard of midnight woven fabric to make your own).
