Let's get together to sew our dream wardrobe in community. We will begin with simple patterns that offer timeless styles and opportunity for repetition. This class is suitable for beginner sewist. Must know how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, and sew a straight stitch. The sewist will learn how to measure their body to determine garment size, how to trace and cut a pattern, how to transfer pattern on to fabric, and how to sew the fabric pieces together to make a very beautiful and entirely wearable garment. Come join us and experience the empowering joy of sewing your own wardrobe.
Level: Beginning (students should know how to operate/thread the sewing machine and sew a straight line.)

Materials fee: $0 OR $65 if purchasing the complete kit. Note: if purchasing a kit, please send payment directly to Nichole at via venmo (@nichole-chigoy https://venmo.com/u/Nichole-Chigoy) at least two weeks before the workshop so supplies can be gathered.

Students should bring: All students should purchase the pattern HERE. Students will get a 30% discount code for the purchase of the pattern in the registration confirmation email.
If not purchasing a complete kit, please bring: properly working sewing machine, approximately 2.6-3 yards (depending on size) of midweight woven non-stretch fabric, thread, enough elastic for their waist, & the printed pattern.
