Ornamental Stitching

Stitch a Korean Quilted Star and a Mountmellick Holly Sprig. These can be used as ornaments, or pockets, or patches, or??? The Star uses a running stitch or a back stitch. The Holly uses a padded satin stitch, stem stitch, a coral knot stitch and a cable plait stitch. You don't have to know how to complete them all! That's what workshops are for. 

Level: Beginning

Materials Fee: $10 for: traditional fabrics and threads, cording

Students should bring: embroidery needles, 4 or 5 inch hoop, scissors
