If you are a fiber farmer, located within a 100 mile radius of Asheville, NC, it's time to gather! We want to put YOU on the map.

How to Join the Meeting: After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.
Host/ Guest Speakers: Dana Brown of WNC Communities will speak about the AgOptions grants. Other speakers TBA.
What to Bring:
Come prepared to share about your farm: the fiber type you raise, how you are selling and processing your fiber, resources you have for scouring, shearing and skirting, what mills you are using, etc.
Bring your questions, needs and dreams for your fiber farm.
A notebook and pen to take notes.
Fiber Sample Opportunities!
We will discuss these opportunities at the meeting. Feel free to bring your questions.
We will be offering micron testing during our Fiber Fest event on April 22nd. If you’d like to have a sample of your fiber assessed with a micron tester, please bring a washed, clean sample (no VM), with a small sample from shoulder, rib and britch for an overall reading, in a labeled zip lock bag. $5/sample. 5 or more = $3/sample. Samples will be processed at the event on April 22nd and reports will be emailed shortly after.
