Itch to Stitch

This is a beginning (or refresher) class in basic embroidery. We'll learn and practice several stitches that can be used to creatively embellish or mend clothing. A few little stitches add the perfect touch to clothes you buy or make, knit or weave. You can also stitch lovely art for your walls, pillows for your bed, lavender sachets for your drawers, etc... Come and sit and stitch. You will leave with a sampler of stitches, threads and needle to keep at it, and lots of ideas to continue your creative work on fabric.

 MATERIALS FEE 10 dollars: fabric for practice and sampler, embroidery floss, needles, hoops
