Introduction to Shibori

What is Shibori? Come and find out and have some fun with me while learning a new skill. In this class I will introduce the basic Shibori techniques. Each student will learn what Shibori is, the dyes used and 4 techniques to create beautiful patterns on your fabric. You will learn how to tie, stitch and clamp the fabric as well as learn how to do a pole wrap.you leave with fabric samples of each technique learned as well as a wearable scarf and a folder of information for you to practice at home. A more advanced level class will be offered at a later date.

Materials Fee: $15.00 

Students should bring: an apron
