Weaving on a triangle loom is fun, creative, easy and quick. There is no elaborate planning and measuring process. Triloom weaving is an efficient way to use yarn, so you can use your stash yarn or more expensive designer, or hand-spun yarns. Triangle looms are great for weaving plaid patterns and elegant lace patterns. Using your stash yarns, learn how to weave a triangle scarf using one yarn strand at a time, using the basket weave. Unlike continuous strand weaving where you weave one continuous yarn and the pattern is balanced on each side, Cut Strand weaving is a different method. The technique of weaving over and under is the same, however you use one stand of yarn for each row. This is a great way to use up your leftover yarn. You can mix and match your yarns for a colorful, incredibly unique triangle scarf. There still is no elaborate planning or warping yarns. You weave as you go. Basic continuous weaving experience is helpful, but not necessary.
