This class is a comprehensive, four session introduction to wet felting. Participants will learn felting basics - layout, felting, fulling, shaping where appropriate.
Week 1 - flat felt or small card pouch
Week 2 - small vessel
Week 3 - small bag
Week 4 - felt flower
Students will learn basic wet felting techniques for flat and 3D pieces and have a chance to explore simple design ideas using various embellishing materials. We will use different types of wool as well.
Level: Beginner
Materials fee: 30 dollars
Teacher will supply: wool, templates, design materials, washboards, soap, basins, stuffing, sushi mats, bubble wrap
Students should bring : towel, sponge, scissors, tape measure, pen and paper
