Learn to make a simple and flattering skirt that will become a wardrobe staple perfect for every season. A-line skirts are versatile and easy to construct. All you need is a good basic pattern and an afternoon of sewing to make what will surly become a new favorite skirt. If you appreciate the look of a clean and hidden invisible zipper, but a smooth finish seems to evade you no matter how hard you try? Learn a fool proof technique that will eliminate the worry of that irritating little bulge at the end of your zip. In this class we will learn to make an A-Line Skirt with an invisible zipper installed in the center back seam. Further below are the links to a couple of patterns that are perfect for this lesson… notice that one pattern has a waistband and the other does not. Feel free to use an a-line skirt pattern you already have… just be sure it has a center back seam. Or, if you have an a-line skirt pattern you already like, but it does not have a center back seam, no worries… there is an easy fix for that too!
