V- Studio Tour with Mary Jones and Yoni Glogower

Members! Join us on June 13 via Zoom for artist studio tours with Mary Jones and Yoni Glogower.

We will visit the Western Massachusetts home of Mary Jones and Yoni Glogower. Nestled in the Connecticut River Valley, Mary and Yoni are both fiber creators in their own right. Mary (pre-fabric) weaves weft-face pieces, including tapestry, and has been experimenting with indigo shibori techniques for up-cycled rag-rugs. Yoni (post-fabric) works in quilting, sewing and embroidery and has been working most recently on repurposing cloth heirlooms. Both of them actively use and teach others how to dye with natural dyes from native plants. Last summer they enjoyed taking classes at Penland School of Craft; they hope to come back to WNC sometime soon!
