Effect of pH on color

Changing the pH of a dye bath can have significant effects on the resulting color. We will explore this with logwood, a plant that is known to show these changes. We will make a range of pH solutions from acidic to neutral to alkaline.

What to bring: notebook, apron, some handwork to work on during down time, any show and tell, as well as any books, magazines, websites, podcasts, events you have come across to share with the group.
