In September 2017 the Asheville Area Arts Council launched its Arts & Wellness program for veterans.
10 week weaving classes begin in the Local Cloth studio on Monday, January 22.
Veterans with wounds of war or life will learn different weave structures which will provide the tools for endless weaving possibilities as well as products such as a set of napkins or handkerchiefs.
