Maybe you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, but we can understand the properties of our fiber and mechanics of our wheels. We will focus primarily on wool, and work on yarn diameters, multiple draft techniques, plying, twist, spinning ergonomics, wheel maintenance and lots of tricks and tips. Bring your wheel(s) and fibers you want to explore. Bring failed yarns to deconstruct, and yarns you’d like to copy.

Your instructor: Robyn Josephs

Registration: Members $50, Non-members $60
