AVL Loom for Sale

60” wide, 16 shaft AVL dobby, fly shuttle loom. This is the loom on which Catharine Ellis did all of her initial testing and weaving of woven shibori. She is ready to work on a smaller scale.

Includes:

Automatic advance system

Sectional beam (some pegs currently missing but they are available to be re-inserted)

Texsolv heddles

Track and mount system

Air powered harness lift

Selvedge warp rollers

Three 60” reeds (10, 12, 20 epi)

Two AVL fly shuttles and a dozen (or so) bobbins

Air Compressor and hoses

Double box fly shuttle, currently air powered. This can be configured for manual fly shuttle (parts included). Fly shuttle can be removed, and loom can be used with a hand-thrown shuttle.

COMPU-DOBBY IS NOT INCLUDED.
