Hey...
I am looking for a wedding gift, for next weekend, for a good friend, in Charleston. I am from Asheville, but was befriended by his parents and 3 brothers back in 2001, when I left Asheville for Tallahassee after flunking out at UNCA. I did, with their help, graduate from FSU, and my daughter was born in Tallahassee, and, though divorced, now my family lives here (mom is from Jupiter), and it looks like at least a couple of the brothers are headed to settle in Charleston. The bride is a quite artistic painter, and would appreciate anything that was handmade. My budget is not reflective of the quality of what is available around here, but at the same time, for about $100, some one might feel downright "commissioned" for selling me something wide enough the new couple could both snuggle under... that was made here, and... if it was distinctive enough to display, that would be icing on the cake. Do you have any thoughts to share at all? Thank you. |
