Large dyepot info

I recently purchased a Brewer's Beast 8 gallon kettle from Asheville Brewer's Supply.

My reasoning was that it would be great for scouring and dyeing cotton yardage.

Well, with the current water situation, I am using it to boil water that then goes into my 5 gallon bucket for use in the kitchen, mostly for washing dishes and cleaning. When we get clean water coming from the tap, it goes into my dye lab.

The kettle is available with and without ports for temperature gauge and draining. I bought it with, since an 8 gallon kettle is too large for me to handle when nearly full. It is induction burner ready; at least the one I got is.

It has markings on the inside by half gallon, easy to see.

I am recommending this for your dye lab if you do production or dye large pieces. Brewers are not brewing due to the water situation, and this little company can use your support. If you do larger production, the one that I bought its the smallest size, so if you need larger, please check them out.

    Happy dyeing!
