The chain stitch is so versatile and can be used both as an outline stitch, and a fill stitch. In addition, there are many versions of the stitch - reverse, heavy, open, twisted and cable. There are others! We will practice the chain stitch and learn the five new versions. The result will be your own sampler - worthy of a space on your wall!
