The reason to create a Nature Journal is to remember the time you spent enjoying and observing the wonders in Nature and now record them as a keepsake.
We will start this 4 week journey with learning drawing techniques to improve your skills and explore some new ones.
Each class will focus on working in different drawing mediums to include types of pencils, papers, erasers, and charcoal. I will teach you how to see and create value, shape, contour, perspective, texture and contrast through shading, line and blending. This will make your work come alive with self expression. You will learn to embellish a written page, or create unique layouts of the subjects and sketches you are drawing. I will teach you how to really ‘see’ what you are looking at, then interpret that in jour journals.
Come find out how to add color to completed drawings and what not to do, what mediums work well and which ones don’t. This will be a fun class while learning a new skill.
This class will be hosted off-site at the home of the instructor. Directions to the home will be provided after registration.
