This class is for anyone who wants to explore your knowledge of color theory and usage and take it to the next level. A basic knowledges of color, mixing and principles is needed to advance .This class will expand what you already know, help you use it in your chosen fiber field and definitely challenge what you can do with it.
It will be 4 weeks of experimenting, sharing ideas and hands on fun. Learn about split complimentary and tertiary colors .There’s a cool and warm side to every color including a gray scale and neutrals. Learn the difference between a monotone and a monochromatic color combination. Want to learn how to recolor an existing palette or create a new look by rearranging your colors?
All work will be done in Gouache on watercolor paper and keep a color journal of each new thing you learn. The last class you will experiment on a piece of fabric or a silk scarf with fabric paints and markers to design your own fashion statement!
Come have some fun with me and leave with an advanced knowledge of color, color mixing and color theory.
This class will be hosted off-site at the home of the instructor. Directions to the home will be provided after registration.
