About Private Studio Events:

The perfect way to learn a new skill and celebrate the heritage of the Appalachian Mountains!

Local Cloth’s unique offering of fiber arts classes range from learning to prepare your own fleece, learning to spin your own yarn, dyeing yarns and fabrics, and using these fibers to create functional and beautiful art pieces!

From birthday celebrations to team-building to retreats, Local Cloth’s farm and studio experience can bring a new level of engagement and excitement to your group. The only question you have to answer is: what fiber skills do you want to learn?

A skilled, experienced teacher, all materials for your project, access to our classroom and dye lab (as needed for each class), time to shop our retail store, and optional add on of tour of Local Farms.

Payment and Cost:

Payment for Private Studio Events must be made in full. We will prepare an invoice for your group once your event has been scheduled. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required and the remaining balance due one week prior to your event.

Private events will vary in cost depending on the type of materials used. You can expect to pay between $50-100 per person for your event, depending on length of class and what options you select for your event.

We require a 5 person minimum to book a Private Studio and/or Farm Event. We can accommodate groups up to 20 people. All requested dates may not be available.
